I pass them out for Halloween so the kids can be seen by cars easily. Even the parents like them. The only problem I have with them is the strap that you slide your finger into is always coming off.

Packaging was terrible and was previously cut. All 210 were in the packaging but a hand full of them were missing the front lens part.

There is a great selection of colors in the bag, and they RGB ones were a pleasant surprise, but overall the beam spread was pretty narrow. Usually, you can use finger lights to guide your path in front of you at night. These ones would only make a like a dim 2 foot circle on the ground.

I buy these every year for Halloween, although not always from the same manufacturer.The RGB lights were a big hit, and the blacklights were too, although they are noticably dimmer--but I believe that's just a natural thing and not a defect.Some of the bands were rotted and I had to try to find replacements. I ordered two sets of elastic bands from Amazon, because the first set was really tight. The second set wasn't much better and I hope it worked better for kids fingers than it did for mine.There were a couple that didn't work, which I've learned from 6 years of buying these, that happens every shipment.The real problem was that they literally break if dropped. The entire case flies apart and can't be put back together. That makes replacing the rotten bands extremely difficult, because they are not easy to put on.I had half a box of another brand leftover from last year, no rotted bands, and they didn't break when dropped.I hope that production improves on these, because the RGB and blacklight rings were so sought after!!

To get 210 of these little lights for $27, all with batteries, is an absolutely amazing deal! Granted there is a minor design flaw with the location of the slot for the rubber band that attaches it to your finger. when you rotate the rubber band so that you can access the power switch, it oftentimes will end up falling out of the slot. If you can tolerate the pressure of the power switch against the back of your finger, then it is no longer an issue. For those that are wondering, yes the color of the light matches the color of the casing. And yes there were two or three lights that had been bumped into the on position in transit, but again out of 210 total it's not a big deal. I would take one star away for the rubber band issue but the value more than exceeds the problem.
