It's a fine piece of plate but the dimensions are not accurate to the listing. On one of the pictures and in the description, the mount is listed as being 5"x12" and in another picture it is listed as 5.5"x10". It is 5.5"x10" no matter what the description says. I had some issues with shipping as well; but that was Amazon, not the seller. The plate is about 1/8" thick and should work great for 212cc engines. If you mod the engine to get extra horsepower you may want to go with a sturdier mount.

The Predator Engine Mounting Plate for the 212cc 6.5HP Engines is a direct fit for our version. I needed a new mounting plate on our Log Splitter when I installed the Harbour Freight Predator and this looked like it would fit the bill. The mounting plate did the trick with no issues whatsoever. Just what the Gasoline Monkey Doctor asked for "direct bolt in" simple solution.
