Finally installed this fuel tank in my project only to find The fuel sending unit works intermittently. My fuel gauge sometimes works and sometimes it doesn’t unless I tap on the unit. All connections have been checked and rechecked. Something inside the unit is lose or not secure. Overall like the tank and finish. Good value just wish the sending unit wasn’t broken.

Overall quality is good. Pickup tube sits almost an inch off the bottom of the tank and it’s not baffled at all.

It ended up sitting unused for a few months while I got around to the project, so it's well past its return window. But the fuel pickup line does not draw fuel. My guess is that there is no pickup tube in there.

Nice tank. NO MEANS of mounting so be prepared for fabricating or purchasing brackets.

It had nice welds, uses -8 fittings, and was a great price. The older cells had tabs on side the new ones don't. The one i received did not have tabs I didn't plan on using them anyways. The only problem I had was the top mounted fittings are almost at the same height as the fill neck. Which makes it difficult to mount under a flat surface.
