- This sensor not only turns the light on and off but also senses whether the lid is ajar.
- If it fails it sends a false signal that the door is ajar.
2 pin refrigerator door light switch installation instruction:
- unplug or turn off the breaker
- remove the screws to release the kick plate
- Reach through the opening in the frame and push the left side of the old light switch out
- depress the tab on the right side to fully detach the switch from the frame,remove the old switch
- Install the new light switch, and align the switch with the hole in the frame and snap it into place
- Reposition the kick plate and replace the screws to secure.
