A Sheriff's Deputy was killed in the line of Duty earlier this week. The service in tomorrow and I was planning to go in all black, however I thought it would be nice to have a little blue line for my tie. I found this tie, got it the next day and it was exactly what I was looking for.

It's funny to look back over the years and watch ties go from really narrow to really wide and everything in between. This one is definitely narrow, but I much prefer those to the really broad ties that were all the rage for a while and practically cover your entire stomach.The material is nice. I can't tell exactly what it is because all the writing on the tag is in Chinese, but it has a nice sheen and feels thick while still being very supple and easy to tie. It also appears to be fairly wrinkle-resistant.

The tie was decent quality. The fabric is thick enough, and it's long. The stitching was good as well. It's pretty skinny, so read and look at the dimensions before ordering. My teenage son likes the look of it. The colors are bold, and it looks like a more expensive tie.
