This is a brand new small block Chevy 305, 350 and 400 belt drive and pulley kit. For use with short style water pumps with up to a 5/8" shaft.
Kit Contents:
- Billet aluminum water pump pulley
- Billet aluminum crankshaft pulley
- Chrome steel alternator pulley
- Cogged belt
The cogged 1 1/2" wide "Gilmer" style belt prevents slippage. Water pump and crank pulleys are a 1:1 ratio. Must be used with the factory alternator position, alternator pulley has outside lips to help keep belt aligned. Will not work with A/C equipped vehicles. Works with mechanical water pumps only (will not work with electric water pumps). Some applications may require a spacer for the crankshaft pulley.

I've wasted a lot of time, water pump gaskets and oil changing balancers and both short and long water pumps. Seems to be the closest with a long water pump and the thicker of the 2 sbc balancers. Anyone have a link to the 1/2inch crank pulley spacer they used? About ready to just throw these away and forget about it. Also need a shorter belt as the one it came with is way to big even with the adjustable alternator bracket maxed out.
