I was concerned that it might not fit my 2004 suburban 1500 2wd. Well it fit perfectly. I don't know if the code will stay cleared out, but I have high hopes. If it does stay off, I will keep my 5 star review.

Upon receiving a replacement part on my initial order the "new" canister arrived and was put into vehicle after re-cutting the hole location on the bolt hole. This replacement part was found to be defective after I received a code showing "small leak" detected on vapor line. A smoke test was ran by a mechanic and the canister showed smoke escaping from the lid portion of the canister and again had to be replaced. This time a GM AC Delco brand was used and no leak detected.

Ordered this part , didn’t work the lines would not seal properly for my 2005 Chevy avalanche ordered another one made sure that it was the part for my vehicle lines didn’t seal again. Went to Chevy dealership part was $389 everything sealed in an instant.

I had a similar issue to one already reported. Base of canister was bowed out and therefore would not fit into the bracket. Even tried to force it but it was risking stripping out the threaded bolt hole.Returning and trying another mfg.
