At first I was really upset when my 6 or 7-year-old Dyna-Glo suddenly stopped working, but thanks to the Internet, I discover that thermocouples are a "wear part" in propane heaters, so I bought this reasonably priced item and fixed the heater! It was time-consuming to install but that's because of the construction of the heater, not anything intrinsic to the part.It felt SO good when the unit came on and started working and I didn't have to go buy a new $150 heater!!

Had installed in my heater for about a month. Wire was shorter then on the factory on but not a huge deal, made it work.Issue is the part failed after 3 weeks of intermittent use. (2-3 hours about 4 days a week).

This thermocouple works fine for my Dyna Glo propane 30,000-60,000 btu heater. However the lead on this is nearly too short making it difficult to install. The ground lead had plenty of length though.

I should have read spec better. The wire was only 4 inches long. It works but wire is tight. Should have ordered the one with 12 inch wire

My heater had been acting up since the day I bought it. Possibly a factory defect. You'll see the bad thermocouple in photo. Glad I didn't run out and purchase a new heater. The install wasn't that bad. You definitely need to pay close attention while disassembling the unit. Take photos if you have to along the way and make sure you remember to tighten fuel line before installing cover plate at bottom of unit. As you can see in the photos my heater starts perfectly now without hesitation.

Honestly not easy to install, but not the part’s fault. Just a complicated design of the heater itself. On my heater the one screw holding the heat element I to the flame was cross threaded. You have to reuse the little bracket there too.Now I’ve got heat back in my garage!
