I got this pair of 24 inch railing planters with coco liners to hang flowers on my front porch balcony. The planters are of decent quality. Unfortunately, my planters arrived with the metal backing slightly bent out of shape. It doesn’t take away from the function or the aesthetic from the front of the planter, but for $56.99 at the time of this review, I was hoping for something of better quality. The coco liners seem durable and thick enough to last. These planters are wide but not so deep, so make sure your plants don’t need deep soil to thrive. I planted small marigolds and petunias in mine, and I think they’ll be OK.ZIP TIES vs BRACKETS: Unlike one other reviewer, I did NOT receive any zip ties with these hangers; I only received the wall mounting brackets. So I had to go to the store for zip ties before I could hang these on my balcony’s thin metal railing. (There were zip ties already on the planters, but they were already attached and so couldn’t be used to hang the planters.)Overall, I’d recommend this pair of 24 inch planters with coco liners, despite them being a little overpriced in my opinion. They’ll work well for plants that thrive in shallow soil.

These planters come with bracket attachments you can use to adhere them to a fence post or railing. Unfortunately, our porch railing was too thin to use the brackets, I ended up using the zipties that also came with the set to attach these planters. Huge props to the company for including these MASSIVE zipties for those of us who don't have a fence that was wide enough for the brackets to work with. I was worried about the coconut coir being a little thin and sparse, but once it got wet, it plumped up and filled in the gaps I was previously concerned about.
