I bought this to store crochet hooks in. One of the photos shows pens/pencils, so I thought I could configure the compartments to hold longer things. However, the dividers that span the width of the box are fixed in place.I have to drive 35 mins to return Amazon products, so I'd spend more in gas than I spent to buy it.

The plastic was not as strong as other boxes I have bought. Also there were only two long dividers between the rows to make it up into 18 compartments rather than individual dividers so you could make some sections larger to accommodate different sizes as other boxes I have purchased in the past.

Got these to organize button snaps for sewing and it worked perfectly. The dividers stay in place well and the other colors stay separate. The lock is pretty secure. I do wish they had a bigger size so I could fit everything in one box. It was easy to use and set up as well as a great price.
