These tiny chalkboards are perfect for labeling foods on charcuterie boards. I’m quite certain I’ll find additional uses for them too… I love itty bitty things.Pros:- Do you SEE how adorably tiny these are?!- They can be erased & reused.- The dowels are smooth, so they’re unlikely to leave splinters in whatever they’re stuck in.Cons:- They are TINY, so it’s a bit hard to write on them.- The wooden frame around the board makes a tiny lip, which further increases writing difficulty.- I used a 4.5mm bullet tipped chalk marker, which was still a little too thick, so I’d like to find something with an even finer point.- The chalk marker mostly washed off, but you can still see the “ghost” of the former writing.- I also wish the stick wasn’t blunt edged instead of pointy or tapered so it could be more easily inserted into whatever it’s labeling.Regardless, these chalkboards will serve my purposes well. I can’t wait to use them on my next charcuterie board! Oh… I think I’ll use them to label herb plants too!

* I ordered these to label cheeses, spreads, etc on charcuterie boards. They are very small, so don't get in tbe way of the food.* I initially used a chalkboard MARKER, but it bled a bit, so I changed to just regular chalkboard. I'll get a very fine point chalkboard marker to try which I expect to work well.* The chalkboard marker and chalk both washed off well.*Great value. I may just use a permanent white marker and reuse them. For this price, I can buy more if needed!* The chalkboard is on a little dowel. I wish they were available with a bit more of a sharp pick to put into the food, but these will work.
