I got this to heat an outdoor plunge tub. I had to use the included adapter which massively reduces the products efficiency but they warn you about that so you should be aware before you buy. I am mostly sad that I can neither get l set it to a specific temperature nor tell what the temperature is without additional tools. I have the tools but it's still a little unfortunate. I guess in most cases it's not so important but I'd like to know before i jump in the water on a best estimate. It's handy! I recommend having the correct plug though if you buy this. As a renter I can't get one installed so I'll have to poke around and see if there's one somewhere on the property. For safety reasons don't get in the bath while this thing is heating. Take it out first.

I grabbed this for my cattle troughs this year after my floater finally quit. This is a nice immersion style heater with a 220v NEMA 6-15p plug. The cord is super heavy and is almost 12' long. It also includes an adapter that converts standard 110v to 220v with reduced amperage (700w power vs 3000). This was really handy since I didn't have a leg long enogh to run 220 out to my troughs. Even at 700 watts, the heater did a great job keeping the tank defosted, even in negative temperatures. This is an immersion heater so be sure it doesn't go dry, it'll burn up if you do. Highly Recommneded for anyone looking to heat up some water!

This is a good quality immersion type heater that can be used in something like a bathtub, all the way to a 600 Gallon fish tank. Very simple to use and highly functional. It has somewhat of an unusual plug for US residences (which is also rated at 240V), but they've had the foresight to reduce that to 120V for standard residential with a little included plug convertor. This means it operates at safe levels, as well as fits the fixtures generally found in US residences. Heats water up quickly, even without much additional circulation. Very simple to use, use plug and wait for a bit. DO NOT ENTER OR TOUCH THE WATER WHILE THIS IS OPERATIONAL. The company does a good job explaining this, but it's worth a second mention. Good value for the money, especially if you find yourself missing hot water because of a natural gas leak for a while (which was my reason for getting it in the first place). Do wish it hard a variable control dial, but other than that it's definitely a keeper.

To run this immersion heater at full power/Amps, you will need a nema receptacle. It comes with a converter for a standard 120v receptacle but, this does reduce the power by half. It still works great for what we need. We got it for our granddaughters pool. I'm not sure how many gallons it is but it doesn't have a filter so the water has to be changed every so often. Her pool is 12' x 18". She loves the water so much, she doesn't want to wait for it to naturally warm up. So this has prevented her teeth from chattering and lips turning blue. We do not let her in the pool while this is in there. Electricity terrifies me so I would never take the chance with her.

I've had a 1500w 120v Grillme titanium bucket heater for about a year and a half now. I use it regularly and it has never failed me. I saw this 3000w 240v (with the same plug I use on my table saw) Grillme titanium bucket heater - and I couldn't order it quick enough. I really like my 1500w grillme heater - the only thing that could make it better is if it could heat the water twice as fast. I did a test - and guess what - This 3000 watter heats the water twice as fast. BinGo!A 5 gallon bucket of 57*F water heated for 20 minutes with the 1500w heats up to 100.8*F. A 5 gallon bucket of 57*F water heated for 20 minutes with this 3000w bucket heater heats up to 144*F in 20 minutes. Yep - that is double the degrees. This also has an option to use with 120v - a provided adapter 120v plug converts this into a 750 watt 120 volt heater. It would be slow but in the right circumstances (think solar) it could come in handy.7 Super Novas for The GrillMe 240V 3000W Titanium Immersion Water Heater ~ Thanks for Reading – Have an Incredible Life! ~

This item does indeed heat a bathtub of water...eventually. I did have to use the adapter so I know it would take twice as long to heat as it would at 220v, but it took 3hrs to take a half full tub of water at 66 degrees to 96 degrees. I guess that isn't terrible but what was terrible was that there was no way to regulate the temperature as this model does not come with a temperature control module even though their smaller "bucket warmer" model does. I'm not sure of the logic on that as you would think if you were heating a tub or a hot tube (that you would get in) you would want to be able to set a desired temperature without having to hop in and out as the water overheats or cools too much. Furthermore, I looked to see if there was a standalone module that could be added to this and there doesn't appear to be such a thing (made by them). Overall, I feel like this is a supercar engine, shoehorned into an economy vehicle with an undersized transmission and bald tires! In short, all power but no performance!

The GRILLME 240V 3000W Titanium Immersion Heater is an absolute powerhouse! I use it to heat my 30-gallon bathtub, and it works quickly and efficiently, saving me so much time and hassle. The titanium build feels super durable, and the 100% waterproof design gives me total peace of mind. It’s fully submersible and perfect for not just bathtubs but also swimming pools or even seawater aquaculture. The NEMA 6-15P plug makes it easy to set up, and it’s surprisingly portable for such a high-performance heater. If you need a reliable, heavy-duty water heater, this is it—it’s worth every penny!

This review is for a 240V 3000W Titanium Immersion Heater. I love soaking in the bathtub, but it gets cold so quickly that when I saw this, I thought bingo that’s what I need. This is a fully submersible portable electric heater that’s easy to use and can be wrapped up and stored under the sink when not in use.
