In my recent move, my lamp finial was lost and the lampshade is loose. I took a chance on this not knowing if these came in a universal thread size and it worked like a charm! Solid metal And so inexpensive.

I use these for plugging up planter drainage holes. Works well as long as planter hole has a smooth edge...which many don't so they leak..but overall work pretty well.

Quoted in the descripting "Widely used: These rubber stoppers are very suitable for laboratory and industrial use, and can be used as bottle stoppers or pipe stoppers in medicine, chemical industry, scientific research and other industries"Seeing as though it says this right in the description I tried to use it to seal a flask overnight... Come back to check on the results to find the rubber stopper started melting, and the process of removing it from the flask made it fall apart.Not only did it ruin a perfectly good, brand new erlenmeyer flask but also my experiment is back at square 1. Way to contaminate and ruin peoples projects, sell them product that will break apart and dissolve contaminating everything when attempting to use... DO NOT PURCHASE IF YOU PLAN TO HAVE AROUND CHEMICALS.
