We take these anywhere we go on holiday. Great for toddlers if there new to a bed. Great size and value for money.

The description says that the package includes a compact foot pump, but that is not actually true. Misleading.

I cannot recommend these enough! I bought two sets and was blown away by the ease of use and function. The rails are so easy to pack, inflate (I found that you don't need the included pump, you can blow them up just fine), slip right under the sheets and they WORK. The bottoms have a velvet-like material which helps the rails cling to the mattress cover and they really stay put. Both of my kids (ages 4 and 2) slept soundly and safely 5 nights in a row in hotel beds...this has NEVER happened! The kids found the rails to be comfy to cuddle up next to, since they create a little "nest" out of any bed. I have spent many a sleepless night worrying about my kids rolling out of bed while traveling, but these rails put my mind at ease. I checked the air levels each night and inflated them a bit more on night 4, but didn't experience any other problems. Looking forward to our next trip with these magical bed rails in tow!

I purchased these a while ago but finally got to use them on a recent trip where we were staying at a couple hotels with our 3 year old. I am really paranoid about her rolling out of a real bed since she's still in her toddler bed at home, and putting pillows around her just didn't fly for me. She's what I would call a typically active sleeper, she's not doing karate in her sleep or anything but she does roll around throughout the night. Anyways, when we got to our first hotel I slept next to her, and only needed to inflate one for her side. I opened the box and thought, oh no I forgot a pump for these, and then I blew them up with my mouth...DUH the pump is INSIDE at the bottom of the box. Yikes. Well, I was able to easily inflate them with my mouth by the way in case you're in a pinch hahah but they do come with a step air pump. They have a little non slip strip at the bottom which I tested out after I placed it under the fitted sheet and it seemed to work OK. If you are kicking it and pushing it a lot throughout the night though I could see it moving out of place...but thankfully that did not happen to us. Even so I put pillows and cushions at the floor of the bed just in case because I am crazy ;)With that being said, it stayed inflated all throughout the night and into the morning. The 2nd time we used it, it worked the same, no issues. I am really happy with them so far. It's a great portable solution and easy to pack up and travel with. Hopefully they last some time without any problems, and yes they did come with a patch to use just in case.

Es genial, llevamos ya más que un año utilizándolo y no puedo estar más contenta. Compra totalmente recomendable.

Très pratique pour voyager, c est le 2e que j achète (ayant deux enfants rapprochés) et j en suis très satisfaite. Ne prend pas de place dans les bagages, ne pèse rien, se gonfle très facilement à la bouche (pas besoin d emmener la pompe fournie avec), tient bien dans le lit en le coinçant sous la housse de matelas, cela crée un espace rassurant pour les enfants. Je recommande!

Ho comprato questo prodotto prima di partire per le ferie estive in quanto mio figlio di 2 anni (1 anno e mezzo all'acquisto) non ama dormire nei lettini da campeggio forniti dagli alberghi, in questo modo abbiamo messo questa barriera che ha svolto bene il suo dovere.Pratico nel trasporto in quanto occupa uno spazio veramente ridotto e nel gonfiaggio.

This product is so much better than you think it will be and far superior to any other bed rail on the market. Believe me, we've tried (and hated) them all. Most bed rails are designed to use a specific type of mattress. I purchased one that could only be anchored securely if you have BOTH a mattress and box spring, our son's bed is a platform bed, no box spring, back to the store that went. Another couldn't fit his mattress thickness. A few others that had "features" to make changing sheets easier malfunctioned and were actually quite dangerous. THIS HAS NONE OF THOSE PROBLEMS!!!!It actually does fit ANY mattress in ANY style bed. WIth the included pump, it inflates in under 2 minutes. It would be simple to deflate and pack up in the included bag, with the included pump and take it anywhere. The plastic is durable. It came with 2 patch kits (that we haven't needed yet).Our son can be fairly rough on his belongings and he hasn't damaged this product, nor can I picture any way that he might be injured with this product. All other bed rails have obvious hazards. It stays in place surprisingly well given the size. Works best tucked under both the sheet and mattress pad. We have to reposition it every few nights, not difficult and not a problem. Our son has not fallen out of bed with this product in place.Highly recommend. I bought it as a long shot, out of desperation. I wish I had tried this first!

I bought this for an unorthodox purpose, and it worked very well for me. Since my son was born five months ago I nap with him in my bed, and before I was putting a pillow on the other side of the bed in case he rolls over. Now he's beginning to actually roll over, so I was afraid a pillow wouldn't be enough to stop him from rolling over. I do hold on to his feet when we nap and to date I have never changed position while sleeping with him (I have a very sore arm to show for that, but he loves sleeping in the big bed with me and gets cranky if I change the schedule), but he now reaches over to the pillow and I was afraid he might pull it over himself. I didn't want a rail that attaches to the bed because I have a platform bed with wood slats and a very thick pillow top bed. We have almost no space left in the room, and there was no space to have a rail that folds down. I also didn't want to risk ripping the mattress with a rail that slides underneath, and since that side is my husband's side we can't have the rail in permanently. I bought this thinking it would be great because we could deflate it when not in use. When I opened it, it has a pretty strong vinyl smell, but I actually like that smell. It reminds me of some old items from years ago, though I can't remember what they were. To me it seems like an 80s smell, not a strong chemical smell. It comes with a pump to inflate it, but it's a manual pump, not an electric one. I thought it would be difficult to inflate it, but it's actually not. I am in horrible shape, have asthma, and was able to inflate it with the pump using my hand in about three minutes. It really blows a lot of air into it. Once I inflated it, I put it on top of the sheets to test it and I found I couldn't move it. I can't put it under the sheets because the sheets barely fit on the mattress as it is due to the thick mattress, plus I also have straps along the bottom of the mattress to keep the sheets from slipping. I was not going to be lifting the mattress every day just to put this under the sheet for the 3 or 4 hours we nap. It's quite long, and extends about 2/3 of the length of the mattress. I used it for the first time today (11/4/13), and my son noticed it right away. He rolled towards it and pushed on it a bit, but it didn't move. He seemed to like the texture of it. I put most of it under the sheet and blanket (I never put the sheet and blanket all the way up to where my son can grab it just in case) on one side of the bed, and even when I pushed against it it wouldn't move. We slept just fine; once the novelty wore off he turned back to me and fell asleep looking at me the way he always does. I love that I can deflate it and put it in the carry bag that comes with it, though for now I just stand it in the corner. It seems very strong, and it even came with two repair patches just in case. The instructions weren't very clear though; there are two tubes sticking out of the pump, a red one and a blue one. The blue one in my pump blows out air, and I'm guessing the red one sucks air in (there's a rubber piece in the valve that helps prevent air from escaping while you close the valve) to deflate. It would have been nice if the instructions had mentioned that so I didn't waste time trying to figure out how to connect it. There are also two different tips to put on the hose that connects to the pump; I found the pointy one didn't work well and only used the one that fits in the valve. Overall a great purchase and it works for me!
