When I use this the lids slide all over and doesn’t help to keep them organized. The sides slant up so langer lids don’t seat well. The quality was sturdy but the function was not great.

While these are marketed for storing tumbler cup lids, I found that they are not actually great for that--I do not want these out on the counter, and if I put them in a drawer with tumbler lids upright, the drawer will not close. And, of course, you can just put the lid on the tumbler before you put it in the cabinet.That being said, they are still wonderful--you can store any sort of utensils in them--for example, I have thrown a basting brush, instant probe thermometer, etc. in it and set it next to my smoker to keep things from rolling away or touching a surface that I would rather they not touch.My sink (which has a "small side" and a "large side") happens to fit these perfectly on the "small side" such that the lip rests on the edges of the sink, so I can use them for holding fruits or vegetables as I wash them or cut them up and allow them to drain into the sink.My daughter tried to steal them for her artist's paintbrushes, which I vetoed, but it made me think, "hmmm... I could use this to hold screwdrivers, etc. as I did small jobs to keep them from rolling away.".Basically, they are incredibly versatile and useful.

I was in the market for a couple of small wire baskets, primarily to hold some onions and garlic (not together!), because of the good air flow. I wanted something small and attractive. I saw this set of two at a great price, and ordered. I have my daily use onions on the counter, and they look great. I am currently using the other basket for extra lids, but that may change. These are very well made baskets; the stainless steel is strong and durable, and there are no sharp edges (I was surprised!). they are easy to clean and dry, and are the perfect size to use in soooo many places. They can hold anything--you are limited only by your imagination. I have also tossed in deep fried foods to drain! I am delighted to have them, and would recommend them.
