I went with the medium pair basing it around the shoe sizing shown, but did not expect them to pull up to the knee. They are very thick and the compression is tight, but not annoyingly so. Still need to test them in deep snow, but so far, they do a great job keeping the feet and legs warm.

These knee-high socks are thick and warm, and although they are a little like compression socks, they’re not too tight. I wore them outdoors on a hike in 30*F and then all day in the house. They kept my feet warm and toasty and I never felt like I wanted to take them off. They did leave marks on my legs, like the wrinkles you can get on your face from a pillowcase overnight, so definitely a good snug fit, but not super tight like the compression stockings I wear on airplanes. Never got sweaty or uncomfortable. Great winter socks!

I don't think it's okay to call socks that are 72% synthetic wool socks, especially when the wool content is only 10%.The socks are otherwise well-constructed and long and warm. I find them a bit narrow.Given the trace amount of wool in these socks, $25 seems out of line for the pair.

These socks are long, warm, and comfortable. I am 6'1" and these come to my knees. I normally wouldn't like that but when it is really cold I am fine with this extra layer of warmth on my lower legs. The fabric is soft and fits well. I wear size 11.5 shoes and ordered size large in these socks. The fit is good. And they are comfortable. The stretch just the right amount.The only downside was that they had a chemical smell to them when I first got them. This went away in the first wash and I haven't had any issues with that. I wore one pair before washing them and the smell wasn't an issue at all.I'm pleased with these and will wear them on especially cold days.

These are warm and comfortable socks - perfect for outdoor activities in the winter. They are a generous length, easily reaching my knees (I'm average height). I wear a size 9 womens shoe and the foot length is perfect. They have mild compression, enought to provide a snug fit, but not so much that they are difficult to put on. They are pretty and have enough poly that they should be durable. Great for the winter. And they come in a pack of 2.
