Small machine taps break too frequently, no matter how careful. These are a good quality replacement for (often) too old and brittle small machine taps.

Renewed threads in 4 holes and cut new threads in 2 holes. Cut new threads with no problems.

The taps arrived and appear to be decent Chinese spiral point taps. After I received them Amazon notified me that they had received my return request. A short time later I was notified that the returned items had been received and I received a refund. I never requested the return or refund. I still have the taps in my toolbox. I have been unable to figure out how to communicate with Amazon in regard to this situation, so at present, the taps appear to be free. What could be better?

Reviewed: TA-VIGOR 2pcs M8 x 1.25 mm Spiral Point Tap with H2 Tolerance, High Speed Steel Titanium Coated Right Hand Thread Tap for Making New Thread and Repairing Damaged ThreadsThese are an excellent value and have very long taper for effortless hand or tapping. The neck however is a bit on the thin side. This might be exactly what is needed but we did break one when taping hundreds of parts with a hand drill. Very good product for the price, but there are certainly better cobalt taps out there if you want maximum tool life.
