I have a standard freeze-free faucet (UPC ASSE-1019A, Eastman Brand 80230) that I noted had a minor leak out of the vacuum breaker assembly on top. Inspection confirmed this was due to the smaller of the two washers inside having a crack in it. This repair kit offered a perfect solution and has eliminated the leak. The parts appear to be nearly identical to the original OEM parts. I was very happy to see that they included a set of replacement washers in addition to the two replacement assemblies, since the washers are going to be the part that fails in most cases. So this kit will allow you to fix a leaky faucet 4 times. The included hose end caps are made of aluminum and are a nice bonus item to have.

The backflow insert is not really threaded but the cap is. As for the washers, the preinstalled one is thin and the extra is about double the thickness. I can't imagine how this is supposed to really help as the thin washer is just fine for most uses. In fact, I can't imagine any scenario where a thick washer would really help. Perhaps if there's lots of debris in the water source. The setup was easy enough to install and it was actually pretty handy that it came with a metal 3/4 threaded hose cap. I used this to test that the leaks stopped and this just made it very easy. It does come with a roll of threading tape which just seems obligatory.
