My wife says: As a hobby potter I often make pieces that are stamped with words or phrases. Until now I have had to stamp each letter individually and it is hard to get the letters evenly spaced and level so I was excited to find these letter sets which would allow me to stamp whole words. The pink set has both upper and lower case letters and even has extra copies of the more frequently used letters -a distinct plus.. As pictured in the listing the letters come in blocks requiring the tedious task of cutting them apart and carefully trimming them to remove all the burrs. Imagine my disappointment when after doing so the pink letters would not fit into the stamping frame, leaving them no better than the letter stamps that I already own! The brown set works using tweezers to manipulate the tiny stamps. However, the stamping plate has limited utility. It has three rows of six pegs each so you can only have words with fewer than six letters and can only center a list of words if they all have an even (or all have an odd) number of letters. The individual stamps from both sets make good impressions but without useful stamping platforms I can not recommend them.

The larger letters will not slide into the linear plastic tray.
