I bought these before Hurricane Milton to try to prevent the foundation of my home from flooding. The aluminum extensions I had would always get blown away during high winds, but these stayed put. I did use some all weather duct tape around them but they survived being pummeled by 85 mph winds for over 5 hours. They took the water away from the house foundation and I did not get water from the foundation. I am so please with them! They were very easy to install. I am 58 and not mechanically inclined and I did it easily!
