Low melt solder and works good! Just what I was expecting. Used a few right away to see if they were good or junk and they are good! Thanks! Came in a box loose, I put them in a small zip lock bag.

These Solder Seal Connectors are perfect for repairing small wires that become frayed or repairs around the house. All you have to do is expose 1/4" of wire at each end and slide the wires into each end of the tube, meeting the wires in the middle, under the silver solder. You then heat the solder with any heat source - hair dryer, heat gun, lighter, flame, etc and then move along the tube to shrink it to the wire and seal it closed. The connection is water resistant if done correctly. Every toolkit needs these in various sizes for easy repairs.I used it on a car dashcam GPS module that had too much cable to conceal, so I cut out the unneeded wire and made the job much neater. You should pick up good wire strippers on Amazon as well to strip wires of all sizes. The process takes seconds looks great if you finish by covering the work with black heat shrink tube.

Tried a total of 10 trying to do 1 wire, solder will not melt and heat shrink burns away before solder tries to melt. complete waste of money

Ease of use is incredible, but you rely on the low temp solder for the mechanical connection. At first I tried to make a lineman slices with these, but the heat shrink is too soft and protruding slivers of wire will punch right through it.. these have to be put together to a butt splice with a little bit of overlap, relying on the mechanical ability of the solder to hold things together
