These are some serious screws. They would be perfect for attaching a 2x12 or 2x10 header to a building. The 3-inch length limits them to attaching to the thickness of just one other 2x board. You will not have to worry about these things breaking. The heads are nice and wide and the shaft is thick. The coating looks good and durable. You will need a T-30 bit for these, not the more common T-25.Faster and easier to use than typical lag screws.

Thes screws are long, heavy duty, have big heads so they will not pull through the wood. The heads are also round and smooth so they can be used for many different things as they won't stub your toe or cut a finger. I used these to build a fence attaching the pickets of wood to the wood rails of the fence and they worked well for my needs.
