Kirby is one of the finest vacuums on the market but they do require maintenance. The most common replacement part is the belt. KeeTidy 301291 Vacuum Belts fit my Avalir perfectly. If your green LED indicator on the power nozzle flickers or dims, you need to change the belt. Also, here's a tip, if you plan to remove any nozzle head for an extended period of time, return it to the ON position to avoid prematurely stretching the belt.
