Does not work with 1/4 inch ID hose, these are for metric 6 mm barbed tees or could be used for 3/16" hose.

Used these hose barbs to run some black 1/2 tubing on the roof - goal was to scavenge "waste heat" to warm the kiddie pool. These worked great, and I experienced no leaks once the stainless steel clamps were firmly attached. Achieved my project goals for sure, and quite affordably so - in this environment I didn't want to use the el-cheapo plastic hose barbs due to high heat potential and the demanding environment.

This NICOLEKAY 1/4" Brass Barb Tee Fittings T-Shaped 3 Ways Union Hose Barb Pipe Fitting, worked great for my application use, which was for some vacuum lines on a golf cart. Though I like that it included some crimps to keep the hoses from ever falling off, these style require a special tool. I think a screw style would be better since more people have screwdrivers than that special crimper tool. Otherwise, the brass tee is very well made and exactly the right size. I replaced my vacuum lines and put this into place, tightened up the clamps and I was good to go!
