Overall I'm quite happy with this. It's a nice size-- just right for being able to do basics in all positions as well as pirouettes. It's heavier than I expected, but that's really nice for going on top of carpet and making the surface a little more solid. The carrying bag works great. At first I thought it might be a little heavy for carrying as a backpack, but it actually was just fine. The weight is dispersed well and the straps on the bag are wide so that they don't cut into your shoulders. The only thing I didn't like is that it feels a little grippy. Very slightly so. My friends were able to do a double pirouette on it but said that they also felt the little bit of grip. It's not much. I just wish it was more like the Marley floor surface.

Good quality. Came with a carrier bag. The dotted side is slightly more frictional, and the black side is smoother. Great for dancing practices on the go

I’m so happy with this floor!It’s a perfect smooth-but-not-slippery surface, great for practicing pirouettes, and this size is also spacious enough for a decent barre practice.The floor is thick, feels durable, and has a decent weight to it. It’s more flexible than I was expecting, which is great for me because it works wonderfully on carpet!I find the carrying case very helpful for transporting to different rooms and also keeping the floor clean and protected when not in use.The only thing to note is that it did come with a potent rubbery smell, what I would describe as “gym equipment” smell, which makes sense of course, but it’s something to keep in mind especially if you intend to store this in a bedroom, I could see the smell being bothersome for some.I am very grateful I was able to receive this for free as part of Amazon’s vine program, because I wouldn’t be able to afford it otherwise — I do find the price a bit steep, but it’s very nice quality and just the perfect size in my opinion, so, if it’s within your budget, I’d say go for it, I think it’s very worthwhile to have and seems like it will last a long time, a good investment.I love mine, I give it 5 stars!

My daughter really likes having this. She’s determined to become a “turner” in dance and this will help. She’s excited to have even more places to turn. She hasn’t tried her pointe shoes on this mat, but this is perfect for exactly that as she can’t practice her turns on carpet or our vinyl faux wood floors. This is a good size slice of Marley to work on. Came with a travel bag for storage. Very thick and durable build quality. You can see the added layers. Great value little piece to add to your at home dance space. ^ my picture shows a 48inch(just the bar measurement)/52inch (end to end)ballet barre and the cheap room essentials mirror from the red box store for size reference.

This dance dot is nice. It has a decent thickness to it. It is a bit heavy and more flexible than I was expecting it to be. I thought it would be more rigid. I got the dot to use on a carpeted surface where my daughter's ballet barre is mounted to the wall, but I feel like it offers a more stable surface on a hard floor vs. a carpeted floor. The dot comes with a storage back pack. I don't know that we would travel with this, but if you are someone who would travel with it, the bag would be helpful to have.

I was surprised how big this was! It came today and since I have class tomorrow, I was eager to try it out! The taps sound great and it is decent surface space too. It’s flat so it slides easily in between the wall and cabinet so storage is streamlined and doesn’t take too much space.
