it is not 3/4 inch as advertised. They are 20 mm I had to machine it to be able to use it.

It says 3/4” inch in the description. It measures .782 . So it will need machining to fit a 3/4” holder .

I have used both of them a lot, I’m not a professional but they have work just fine for me

These tool holders are definitely robust. I was thinking, "Man, they feel like they weigh 3 times as much as the ones that came with my lathe." Upon opening the package, I found out why... They are too big to fit in my tool holders. Like Chaz, I am milling them down to fit.I am going to mill them down on three of the four edges, but leave the significant head intact so that they "seat" into my tool holder. I think that this will still increase the overall rigidity, which I need. But, they will still mount in my holders.I am anxious to see if this affects the way they feed, or the side relief, with all that mass. But, honestly, they are very impressive for the price...even if they are too big. The machining tolerances and fit between the inserts and the holders is unbelievable for this price.I definitely recommend...but be prepared to do a little massaging if having an AXA or BXA QCTP.

The description doesn't say how big these are; they are so big they wouldn't fit in my AXA tool holders. I envisioned something with a 1/2" shank but it's more like 7/8". I bought them so I could turn threads to a shoulder and my current holder doesn't have enough side clearance. Due to the large size of these, they don't quite have as much side clearance as I thought they would. Very rigid of course but be aware. I will have to mill these down to fit my holders or else return for something smaller.
