I have a 76-79 steering gear box with 3/4x 36 spline shaft. Fit my gear box just fine. This model only has one side(gearbox side) with a set nut and the other is non splined. I could have drilled for a set nut but I just welded it to my steering shaft.

The box it came in said it was the right one but the universal inside was not.

Seems good quality to fabricate a steering shaft to clear aftermarket headers.
