I've used and owned 6 different brand printers but this brand is a first for me. As of this review it is currently unavailable but i was immediately impressed with the build quality of the printer itself. The base is all metal with a nice sized screen. It came packages very well to ensure no damage during transit, once i got it all unpacked and plugged in it turned on right away. Noise level wise I would say it's close to most midsize resin printers maybe slightly louder without even printing. Followed the instructions to get it ready for printing and once that was done i put my resin in and started a print for a model i'm working on. Print time was normal and on par for most printers i've used before, smell wise the lid seemed to do well in keeping it locked in for the most part. Of course if you have a ventilation system setup then it won't be a concern for you or big open area. the results were on par for my much larger printer with the details all being there and easy removal of the print from the bed. overall i'm really surprised and happy with the results for it being a brand i've never heard or seen being used before.

As a 3D artist who has had my models occasionally printed over the years, I'm somewhat familiar with 3D printing technology but have never owned my own 3D printer. Excited to do my own 3D prints, I jumped on the chance to evaluate and review this Lyncast DLP resin printer. However, after ordering and waiting for delivery, I started to doubt my decision as I could not find any information on the brand. There are numerous videos and tutorials on DLP resin printers, but nobody is ever shown using a Lyncast printer.Unboxing it, I was impressed by the overall build quality (all metal base) and I'm very happy to say that my fears have been put to rest after doing a couple of successful prints of some 3D models I created that show awesome detail. I included some pics with my review showing results but please note I'm still learning the resin printing process so you might notice some areas where a part is broken off (not a fault of the printer). It's really cool to see your 3D work printed out as a physical model you can hold.At the time of ordering, this printer cost $599 (currently unavailable at time of review). This is around $100 more versus other DLP 3D printers with comparable features. Why does it cost more? The only two features I see are the larger LCD screen and the ability to print slightly larger prints. The large LCD screen is very nice, but I haven't used a machine with the smaller screen to compare. If, like me, you are new to 3D printing. Make sure and do your research before beginning this hobby. Especially consider the ventilation and handling requirements. Resin is toxic and nasty stuff. One of product images shows how this Lyncast printer is quiet (it is quiet) by having it printing while sitting on the bedside of a sleeping couple. The reality is you don't want a 3D resin printer anywhere near your living area where you would be breathing the fumes produced by the resin and printing process! I'm currently working on setting up a dedicated print area in a room away from family and pets with proper ventilation. Wearing the right type of gloves/mask and properly disposing of waste is another consideration.Overall, very pleased with this printer and glad I entered the hobby with a DLP based printer which prints with awesome detail, operates cooler, and should have lower maintenance costs (compared to LCD). I'll be knocking out a lot of prints once I get a proper set up going. One additional thing to note. The printer does come with a small bottle of resin to get you started (250g/8.8 oz).
