I ordered this 3D Puzzles for Adults, Modern Villa Wooden Model wood puzzle kit for my husband as an upcoming Easter present; now that our kid is a teenager, we’ve changed our Easter baskets a bit; there’s still candy, but I try to find fun things to make up a gift basket that speaks to my husband’s or son’s favorite interests and hobbies.My husband enjoys puzzles; he especially likes three dimensional ones. When I saw this architectural puzzle of a villa, I knew he would have a lot of fun putting it together.I’ve checked out this kit, but I haven’t tried to out it together, as it’s going into my husband’s Easter basket for him to make up the puzzle. Everything he needs appears to be there; there are thin, laser cut pieces of wood that make up this two story house. The sales page says this puzzle uses mortise and tenon assembly; this is a way of joining pieces of wood together tightly. The pieces will slot together; each joint has a tongue and a groove where the wood connects.The puzzle pieces come with illustrated instructions; the house is built step by step. The sales page says you don’t need special tools or glue. Every piece is included in the kit, along with some extra spare pieces, which seems like a great idea to me; it’s always frustrating when you’ve used every piece in a puzzle, but there’s still an empty spot.I can’t wait to see this little 3xD kit come together; the small, two story house has all kinds of cool details, like front steps and pillars, openings in the mullioned windows, and openwork fences around the upstairs terraces.At the current price ($16.99) I think this puzzle kit gives excellent value; for less than $20, you get a two story 3D model made from wood. 3-D models are usually much pricier than $20. This is a great basket-stuffer for Easter; I know my husband will have fun with this intricate and interesting model puzzle kit.

Very precise cut wood pieces make this work out perfectly.When I first looked at the instructions , I thought "pshhhh -yeah right". But you just take it one bite at a time and it works perfectly.Pretty dang slick as a matter of fact.I did it by myself in around 75 minutes and honestly that is the right way to do it without getting ahead of your self or out of order.Once it is put together it is quite sturdy.Now I want to use my markers and doll it up some, or maybe get another one and color it before assembly. Ooooh - that sounds fun.Really good for a puzzle lover or yourself. Very nicely made.

I have already done the one story house so I was excited when I saw the two layer one as well. This was just as much of a fun build as the one story house -- and this one was cool because it had an extra story which made it a little more interesting.This is not a fancy kit which is perfect in my opinion. I already have the tools I need (if needed) and this is pretty much wooden puzzle. It probably didn't need any glue but I always glue these anyway (just in case). The instructions were easy to follow and it basically took me about half a day to put it together but I had breaks in there as well. The final product is cool and I like the little bits of interactive in it as well.Definitely recommend.

My 12-year-old son loves building things, so when we saw this on Amazon, it seemed like a fun project. At first glance, I thought it might be a challenging build, as the instructions were pretty minimal. I planned to make dinner and then help him with it afterward, but to my surprise, he finished it on his own in just about 50 minutes, well before I was done with the dishes! He was so proud of himself, and I was impressed by how quickly and confidently he put it together.The finished puzzle looked amazing. It was so visually striking that my son immediately wanted to paint it. Since I do some woodworking, I suggested we use some color stain instead, and we spent the next two hours staining it together. The result was gorgeous—while the puzzle was stunning even without the stain, the added finish made it feel more like a high-quality model perfect for display.A nice little bonus is that the doors open and close, which was a cool and thoughtful touch. This was a really enjoyable project for us both, and I can easily recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and rewarding build. My son is already asking for another one to do.

The modern villa is as advertised. The style/color is as expected. I am recovering from back surgery and it was a good activity. I enjoy puzzles and crafting and this mixes both of these. The directions leave a lot to be desired, but since I enjoy puzzles and do a lot of "building" activities I don't mind figuring it out- this could be frustrating for some. I am adding my own design in terms of painting and accessories for it, which is the only way to make it a unique craft experience. The pieces fit well together- better than another model that I completed. Many of these come with sandpaper to sand nodes down from where the pieces connected to the frame and with advice to use a craft knife/box cutter to assist in removing the pieces. This doesn't but I would advise both of those to make construction easier and avoid breaking any delicate pieces from too much pressure when "punching" them out of the frame. The price is at the lower end for many of these kits, which is likely due to the lack of "extras" (i.e. accessories) and tools. If you want just a straightforward simple house or one where you can add your own details (i.e. furniture, décor, etc.) this is a good one.Rating System⭐️ 1 star= Disappointed. I don't recommend it at all, poor quality, or not as advertised.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars = Has some redeeming quality.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars = It's passable. Might not have bothered.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars = Mostly Satisfied.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars = Entirely Satisfied. Recommend.
