This was a very big disappointment! The pieces would break as I would take them out the wooden frame.Could not even put them back with glue. I would not recommend this product. Sadly I was not able to return it for a refund!

Product was not well made, very fragile and breaks easily when putting together

I wasn't expecting too much when I got this, but it's really well designed. It's pretty small overall and man, some of the parts like the eyes were a slight challenge to get on, but once assembled it all holds together really nicely. Everything is pretty much friction-fit and the pieces interlock in a way that they keep each other from falling out. Some of them fit really tightly and I needed to pish pretty hard to get them it. I also had to be careful that I was perpendicular so that I don't accidentally snap any piece off. They also included a small piece of sandpaper to buff up rough edges. Be careful with that though because it'll obviously take off some of the paint or result in a light spot on the edge. Also, be careful when removing the wing from the plastic. I accidentally bent some of the small, more delicate edges while taking them off. Fortunately, it's a part that's hidden once assembled. It looks really nice once assembled, but it's also not too big. You can see by the measurements listed that it's smaller than a postcard. $10 might seem a little high for the size, but the detail is really nice and it looks great on display so it might be worth it for you. Especially if you're an insect lover.

I got this puzzle for my granddaughter, aged 9, to put together. She needed help with it, but she did get it done. Unfortunately, I bumped it a few days later, and part of it fell apart. She's going to put it together again, but this time she's going to glue it.The puzzle pieces themselves are well-made and sturdy. A piece of sandpaper is included to smooth out any rough edges. The pieces need punched out before being put together; they are not already separated out. The colors are strong. This is a good puzzle. Kids will need help to put it together.

If you get this kit, make sure to get some glue to go with it. Some of the pieces fit a bit too snugly and can lead to breaking, as they did for me. Unfortunately, I couldn't complete this kit due to too many parts breaking, but a more careful hand might be able to work with it.

WHAT: 3D Wooden Puzzle - Insect Jigsaw Puzzle - Butterfly 55 PiecesNOTE: The pieces of this puzzle must be removed gently or they will break which requires more finger control and agility than children might have. Some pieces are a tight fit requiring a bit of hand strength and finger control to put them together.WHAT I LIKED:* Easy to follow instructions* Pieces fit snugly together without glue.* The assembled butterfly is pretty and detailed.* Fun STEM or STEAM activityTIPS:* Gently press on the pieces to remove them. Use an exacto knife if the pieces don't come right out or all very small.* Don't rush, be firm and gentle with the puzzle.
