Would like to see it a little higher. Installs easy just remember to clean the surface with alcohol and make sure it’s dry before sticking it down.Definitely enough for my 4’ shower stall.

I'm actually using this outside to both keep water from running out of an outdoor shower and to water around my pool from running under my deck. It was easy to install - peel and stick - but trying to cut the corners at a 45 degree angle was a bit more challenging since the seal is thicker in the middle than on the edges. It had no problem adhering to the concrete deck, but only time will tell how well the adhesive will handle the outdoor elements.

Bought this to keep some extra water from spilling out of our roll in shower. There was definitely water still spilling even with this in place. Which leads me to believe this may not be doing as good a job as expected. I assume the tape underneath is leaving some air gaps and that’s how water is getting through.

It doesn't stay stuck down on its own. You would need to add caulk. I would have returned but I had already cut it into pieces for my project.

I ordered this to use as a sort of bumper under appliances to keep my cats from kicking their toys into oblivion. So I can't speak to the issue of water retention, but I can say that it seems to be holding up well for my purposes! It was easy to install, just cut and paste.

I used this and another similar product for the same application- keeping a minor leaking at bay in a pool pump room. The adhesive is tacky and works well as long as you clean the surface well. For us it was a concrete floor so it took a lot of prep and cleaning. Don’t skimp on that part as it is the key to a good seal.
