  • 3-IN-1 PROBE: The Naiades soil moisture meter applies a 3-in-1 probe that can read soil moisture, soil pH, and light level, at the same time, which is more accurate and simpler than a traditional multi-probe soil tester. Meanwhile, the two probes inserted into the soil can increase the accuracy of the data and eliminate the need for frequent testing, thereby reducing damage to plant roots and making it a reliable plant care tool.
  • 90°CREATIVE ROTATABLE DIAL: With 3 angles (0°, 45°, and 90°), the Naiades soil moisture meter's adjustable readout screen eliminates the need to bend down for readings. Enjoy a comfortable viewing angle while gaining comprehensive insights into your plants.
  • No Battery Required & Reliable Results: The hydrometer for plants is battery-free and easy to store. You only need to insert the probe deeper than 2-4 inches into the soil and you will get the test result instantly.Effective to help you prevent overwatering, ensuring healthy and thriving plants.
  • Exceptional Customer Service: We are committed to providing customers with satisfactory service and carefully sourced range of soil test kits are manufactured to the highest of standards our customers expect. If you have any dissatisfaction with the product, please contact us.
  • Please Note: To ensure accurate readings, avoid immersing the plant moisture meter in water or any other liquids. To get the relative pH value close to the absolute value, soil moisture should be between 4 and 7. Always clean the probe after testing.

This meter works instantly, has a good level of precision from what I can tell, and true to the title, doesn't use batteries at all. Only concern is that you can't leave it in the soil, but that's not the worst problem. Overall this works well and has some good readings.

This is a good meter. It came with directions and information about plants that will help me. The meter is easy to use. I have lower back issues so I love the feature that allows me to tilt the meter upwards so I can read it without being bent over the entire time. Because of the price, I thought this meter would be really cheaply made but it isn't. It is a good value.

This isn't a top-of-the-line moisture meter but let me tell you that it is a good one! It doesn't feel cheaply made at all. It's got some weight to it, and the rods are solid. The 3-way detection is a plus, especially for those newer to indoor/outdoor gardening who are just learning about watering, PH levels and lighting needs. They include a detailed and information-filled packet that has not only the basic functionality instructions for the meter itself, but they list a ton of different references in regard to watering a variety of popular houseplants, what the average PH levels should be for certain plants for both indoor and outdoor gardens, and lighting/shade requirements for again, both popular indoor and outdoor plants. It's super informative and educational!I am pleasantly surprised at how thorough the manufacturers were with the knowledge they provided to ensure that every level of gardener has the information they need for successful growing.Another note-worthy feature I really like on this meter is the way the main unit can be tilted from the rods for easy reading. It can be tilted to any angle up until it's facing straight upwards so it can be used and read in any application. The needle movement, as I can tell when tested in different plants I have throughout my house, seems to be fairly accurate. For example, when testing for moisture, I know when the last time I watered certain plants is and know that some of them are dryer than I want them to be at the moment, and the meter showed those plants on the dry/1 scale range, which is what I expected. On the other side of the spectrum, I also have plants that retain moisture longer and those plants, when tested, showed they were in the 4/5/6 range, which is right where they should be.When testing light requirement, I left the meter inside one of my potted plants, just in front of it's lowest leaf facing the same direction and took its reading several times during the day, starting with the morning up until the evening. The needle moved to the appropriate scale number as the sun moved throughout the day, so that tells me it's working as it should. My final thoughts after using and testing this product is that I didn't need to spend $25-$35+ for a fancy-shmancy LCD or Bluetooth moisture meter because this one at $15 accurately tells me all I need to know in an easy-to-read dashboard. It's a great value for the money knowing what I'm getting is exactly what I needed, plus more.

I did not know what to expect with this measuring device. I got it 1) because it was cheap and 2) I just started my pepper and tomato germination and in this stage I just spray top of soil to keep the soil damp. Mainly I was just curious if such a cheaply priced device could actually work.I trialed each of the three settings and decided I really could not trust if it was accurate or not. Since I am new to the whole indoor germination process I do not really know what the numbers even mean and the instructions really do not help. For instance. For moisture the scale is in varying degrees of "dryness" meaning at one end it just says "dry"and the opposite it is "Wet" 1-9 respectively. There are color gradiants red through green also. I suppise its suppose to be as dumbo simple as it could get for people like me but I am not sure of the whole thing since I also tested the wetness of a glass of water and it only registered 8 out of 9 on the scale…..what is up with THAT?There is also no way to know if the light and ph meter is accurate either because it also is a red to green scale but I do know what my cheap grow light is "suppose to be in kelvin temp and this meter does not indicate that. It could be the meter is wrong or the light does not achieve the described temp AND the ph indicator barely moves. In retrospect, I can on no way say this is a bad device at all. I think its designed to "roughly" give a grower an idea that something is wrong but whether the advise is strong or weak I can not say. It is certainly cheap enough for "rough ideas" as to the growing environment, but I would rather touch the soil and say too dry or wet with my own guesses.

I had very low expectations for this and I was not disappointed. I like that you can tilt the meter backward to make it easier to read when inserted in the soil. The light meter might be useful for comparison of grow lights or indoor locations for seed starting. The moisture meter also gives a useful comparison to quickly tell you whether the soil below the surface is still damp or dried out. However, the pH meter I found to be completely useless. I followed the directions to make sure my soil sample was moist (at least to number 5 on their scale) and I could barely get the needle to move at all off of neutral (7.0) with samples of known pH as low as 5.5. The lowest it ever read was near the line between 7 and 8. Possibly if I was testing mineral soil with a high EC level (with high salt content) it would test better, but I was testing a soil with average EC and high in organic matter as you would likely use in a vegetable garden.
