Our 3M Perfect-It Gelcoat Medium Cutting Compound + Wax features a fast-cutting formula that removes moderate oxidation weathering, dulling, chalking and scratches from gelcoat surfaces. Excellent for boats, watercraft and RVs, this professional-grade marine compound also includes a durable wax – you can often compound and wax in one easy step with no polish required. This 3M marine compound is formulated to stay wet for a long time on the compounding pad and on the surface, so you don’t have to stop compounding as often to change pads or apply more material. This is a great medium cut. Removes oxidation well. The shine it leaves is good but not great. But for what it's intended for, it cuts very well. I topped it with Wizards Show Shine and it was great.

This product is great hit a fence poll and scratch my rv this 3m scratch remover with a drill and a wool pad removed the scratches ‼️‼️👍

i used this product to restore a bathroom countertop from 1959 that looked like the previous owners chopped meat on it! after sanding with an orbital sander we applied this 3m compound with wax by hand and it made the countertop look brand new. i also used it on an old bathtub and it restored the finish.
