3M usually makes great products, and this adhesive spray is no exception. Unlike other similar products, this did not make a mess when applying. It's not stringy or gloopy, but a fine dry mist. It only takes a few seconds to set up to tacky. I used it to bond a fabric shade to a metal door and it worked well

I use 3M Super 77 multipurpose spray adhesive all the time for crafts, school projects (science fair boards!) and home/DIY projects. This is their newest version. I found it to work just like my old can. Easy to spray. Nice coverage with no spitting once can is shaken. Works on multi-surfaces. Dries quickly. Adheres well. Can reposition if you are quick. Once in position, it sticks and can’t be moved. You do need to keep nozzle clean or it will clog. Overspray areas and fingers will get sticky, so put protective coverings down and have some acetone on hand for clean-ups – I always need to wipe off my fingers. I have used other brands and I always go back to this one. It is the best.

My car is 20 years old and the fabric has started coming loose from all of the roof pillars, so I ordered this Super 77 Multi-Surface Spray Adhesive to try fixing it.The instructions for the spray say to "turn the nozzle toward the dot on the can" but there isn't a dot on my can. That didn't matter because it turns out that it sprays regardless of the direction of the nozzle. I recommend testing the spray a few times to get a feel for how it comes out before trying it on a real piece. Like spray paint you need to make sure you keep the can moving while you're spraying or you'll end up with a puddle of glue instead of a nice even surface. It only takes 30 seconds until it's tacky but once the pieces are bonded there really isn't a lot of working time to reposition things.I've only done a few test pieces to get a feel for how it behaves and haven't tried it on my car yet, but so far it seems like it will do the trick.

This spray adhesive is so very useful in my house. There are so many potential applications for it, from fixing wallpaper thats peeling to securing pieces together. I have already used it to repair the peeling wallpaper in my bedroom and it was quick and easy to use. The adhesive dries very very quickly, so be care when and where you spray it. Also be sure to where a mask because you definitely want to avoid accidently inhaling it. The spray nozzle is precise, but there can be some blowback if you are too close to the object you are spraying. I really like this product and will definitely alway have it on hand in my house going forward!
