First at all I return one because the clasp was defective (broken) then I get the new chain , but in less than 2 months turns black like the paint just fall off 😬 and obviously the return window is closed so no way tu returning or get a new one.

When I ordered this chain, I recall it being described as sterling silver gold plated, and the clasp is stamped. However, I see now that the description under materials reads “stainless steel” so I am a bit disappointed because of the material, but the chain still looks nice and has a good shine. Time will tell if it lasts or gets dark fast.

Well worth every penny and it's absolutely beautiful , my husband wears it everyday.

I really would have liked to given this 3 mm 925 Sterling Silver Figaro Chain a better rating, but it broke in the chain length within 6 days. I received the chain on February 27th. Upon unboxing it, I immediately noticed that the chain was kinked, knotted, and twisted around pretty much in all of the chain. I tried to gently straighten it out. The twists remained. I put it on, and it wouldn't lie flat. I ordered the 20" chain to go between a 18" 925 Silver Herringbone Chain I've had since 1980, and a 20" 925 Figaro Chain I purchased on Amazon December 2024. Since it wouldn't lie flat, it was close to being 18"-19" twisted up. Also, I measured all of the necklaces, and the other two count the chain length as the size, then add the lobster clasp and 3 mm end crimps to the length. This chain counted everything together as 20". The actual length of chain was shorter than 20".Yes, it passed the magnet test for silver, is very shiny, and didn't cause any reactions wearing it. But, it was constantly kinking, knotting, and tangling with the other two necklaces and in my hair. I'd have to stop everything and undo all three necklaces to untangle them before putting them back on. I was never doing anything strenuous while wearing them like working out.On the night of March 4th, I was getting ready for bed when I felt the chain hanging between my front and back. I had the feeling all along that it could break because of the twisting and kinking. It had broken within the length of the chain, not the clasp. I wasn't surprised that it broken, but the only pendant that would fit on it was missing. It's not a expensive pendant, but the butterfly charm has extreme sentimental value since the woman who gave it to me has passed. So, I spent about 30 minutes searching and crawling on the floor looking for the butterfly charm. I was very worried because I thought it might have been flushed down the toilet with no return. I finally found it on a rug. Not something I wanted to get stressed out about right before sleep.The reason it was the only pendant that would fit on this chain was because this chain has a jump ring connector that is 5 mm. Larger than the chain of 3 mm. The other Figaro Chain I bought from Amazon has a 3 mm crimp end, thereby letting pendants with pendant clasps of 3 mm and less fit over the end. The Herringbone Chain I've had since 1980 is the same way. I didn't realize that if a lobster clasp is in the description of a chain, it could have a crimp end or a jump ring. Now I know.This necklace was about $6 cheaper, but so not a value for the money because it twisted, kinked, knotted, and finally broke within 6 days. That $6 savings was not worth the stress of thinking my butterfly charm was gone forever. I don't have a lot of jewelry, but I take care of what I have. I will only buy Italian made 925 Sterling Silver in the future, that is guaranteed to lie flat, and is quality made. Even if it's a few dollars more, it's worth it. I've learned my lesson, and I'm just glad I wasn't out in public when it broke because the butterfly charm would be gone forever. If you've read this far, also look for other Italian made chains that have been diamond cut. These are shiny without the rhodium plating imo.

I like this Avotto chain, but I can't say for sure if it is really made out of silver and gold. The seller says it's 100% silver and gold, but there’s no official certificate or authentication to prove it. Still, it looks good enough, especially for the price. I’ve been wearing it for a couple of days, and it hasn’t tarnished or changed color, so I don’t think it’s fake, but I don't have any way of being sure. i can bring to a shop and have it test with laser. results coming

As soon as I took it out the box and looked at it I knew it was gonna be disappointing and it was... this jeweler is making poor quality jewelry and describing it to be durable it is cheaply made the links are not smooth and it's just an awful Cuban link the worst I have ever seen!!! Give me my money back please!!!!
