I had a problem with birds flying thru and sitting on my porch leaving their droppings all over. I was tired of cleaning up after them and found this as a solution. I ordered and hung them up and now I am bird free of their droppings. Great product and decoration too.

I hang these on my back deck off a 3 hook pole u sed for bird feeders, I have many hawks and a few eagles fly over my house because I live near a river. I own pomeranians and always have an eye to the sky for hawks when on the back deck. I used to have plastic twisted chrome colored "hawk deterrents" hanging on my deck but due to wind storms they have been damaged or are missing. I decided to try these as "hawk deterrents" and love these. They make so much more sparkle and reflectant on my back deck. Always catching a reflectant of light dancing on my back deck when the sun is shining.

I put all three around my grill area and they don't do a dang thing. Birds love it 😔Recommend for looks not deterring

This was the 2nd set of this style of "bird scare spinners" I ordered; our HOA plans to hang them in the eaves of homes that have been getting holes pecked by birds. I initially ordered a couple of sets (2 sets of 3) from another seller to be sure they were what we wanted. Those seemed fine, smooth, sturdy, shiny, no missing parts. That seller was sold out when I went back to order more, so I ended up going with this seller which was a little more expensive. The product arrived promptly but when I went to assemble them, there were 2 connectors missing so I had to swap some pieces out from my other set; also, the metal oval pieces are lighter weight and don't feel as smooth, sturdy, and shiny as the first ones from the other seller. Hopefully we won't need to buy more anytime soon, but if we do, I'd prefer not to use this particular version of the spinner. We have not installed them yet, so I cannot speak to the effectiveness in deterring birds.

I got them to keep the birds from flying into my glass door. So far so good. They look cool when the sun hits them and the reflections that come in the house.

I bought these because we had a family of ducks swimming and sitting on the ledge of our pool and spa, leaving nasty messes. Since I’ve hung them, they haven’t been back and my pool area stays clean. They are great for the money and easy to hang.
