Hard to start a hole. Would not go from one size to the next easily. I have used these type of bits before. This set is very poorly made.

The bits aren't as sharp right out of the package like other more expensive bits (the DeWalt step bit), but they're solid and they're affordable.

Good product at a good price. Worked well for mild steel and steel tubing but not so well with brushed aluminum plate.

I have use much sharper tools than these.. I'm not sure if it is the quality of the metal that they are made of, or it is that they are not fabricated to be sharp as knife like some others
