I wish I had this sooner, This has every thing you need at a great price to help getting your sublimation tumbles nice in tight for the heating process. The tape dispenser makes it easy get the tape than pre cutting them and sticking it to the edge of the table. Gloves are a must because the tumblers can be very hot

If you are going to start sublimating on tumblers or mugs, this starter kit is pretty comprehensive. The tape dispenser has a two piece spindle so you can use it with the larger diameter tape rolls that come with it, but if you happen to have the smaller core tape rolls, it'll work for those too! The center spindle only goes in to the larger core from one side, so if you've lined up the two grooves properly and it's not fitting in easily, flip the larger part over and try from the other side. Do not force it! See the notes in my pictures. There are different size clamps to hold your sublimation paper in place while you tape (one each for 20,30 and 40 Oz tumblers). They have sides so they won't roll which is so important, and the rubber ring that holds the clamp shut, also fits on a carabiner clip (not included) so you can hang them on a pegboard in your craft room or on a cup hook under a shelf. The tape measure is really well designed for working with tumblers and the aqua stand is awesome for working with vinyl or affixing flatback bling to your mugs, glasses and tumblers. The heat resistant gloves are an absolute must have and the various scraper tools are great for sublimation and vinyl work. Good value, great gift for yourself or someone else.

As someone who loves to make sublimation items, one of my mistakes was never getting a tape dispenser. I have been using the peel and cut method, and when making a lot of projects, it can get tedious. This tape dispenser is a hassle and time saver, and it has to be my favorite piece in this set. Having said that, the rest of the items are still great for a starter kit. The tumbler pinch tools are very nice with the rubber strap to keep them closed and varying sizes. I have some regular ones without the strap and sometimes those open while working with them, so these ones are a real nice addition. The tape is not my favorite, as I have found that clear or blue tape is best, but it has not burned onto anything so far, so I will find use for it regardless soft it not being my favorite. The cup cradle, gloves, tape measure, and other pieces, are all very useful tools to have withing reach any time you are working with tumblers. I have several versions of each of the other tools, and I use them every time I make tumblers. They are also useful tools for epoxy tumblers as well. Overall, though I already had some of these items, the items I did not have, have made a huge difference for my craft room. I am very happy. This would be a set I'd order as a gift set for any friend or family member interested in starting their own sublimation journey. Simple tools, but absolutely useful.

This is a great set for the price. If you bought all the components separate you would spend double. One if the biggest problems for sublimation is the paper being too loose and shifting during the heating process. This set is perfect for helping hold your paper tight so you have hands to tape it down. It really has helped me tremendously. I also love the cradle which helps hold my cups so I can center designs. The measuring tape is critical for the designing process too. The dispenser is good, but I have one that automatically cuts that I like a little better, but it still works great and is very useful. I have no complaints and use this all the time. It’s really a bargain!

The tape dispenser is nice and the tape worked really well. The spatulas are pretty nice too. And I really liked the rubber mug holder. Ceramic mugs fit really nice in there as well as tumblers. It really helped me apply vinyl and sublimation to mugs. The gloves worked alright, but if you handle the hot items for too long, you can start to feel the heat. The clamps (the main reason I ordered this kit) are absolutely garbage. They did not hold up in the oven like they are supposed to. As you can see in the photos, it melted right off my mug. I tried to let it cool to harden, but it hardened in a twisted, warped shape and is now not usable. Not only that, but the largest clamp BARELY fit the standard size cricut mugs. I was afraid to hook the rubber band for fear of breaking the mug handle. Other than the clamps, this kit is decent. Would have been five stars if it weren't for the bad clamps

This kit is great for any beginner to the craft. I would’ve liked it more if the felt covered scraper locked into the cup holder, but it’s not life or death for use. The tape dispenser is a HUGE help. I don’t think I’ll be using the measuring tape since it feels so flimsy, but the clamps work like a dream. It’s awesome that the kit comes with replaceable parts for those.
