The PLMR24S is a pair of 3.5", 200 watt, heavy duty weatherproof speakers perfect for the deck, the backyard, by the pool, or on your boat or other marine vehicle. They're completely waterproof, featuring a rustproof grill that's removable for cleaning. These 3 way speakers provide the full spectrum of sound, thanks a 3.5" aluminum injection cone woofer with a 24 oz. magnet for the low end, a 1.75" wide dispersion cone for the midrange, and a 1" super dome tweeter for the highs. The built in capacitor crossover network does all the hard work you just plug them in using the quick connect terminals and hit ‘play'. Bass reflex vent provides even more low end for your buck. Frequency response: 70 Hz to 21 kHz. Includes a complete mounting kit and wires. Color: silver.

You get what you pay for. IMO the overall quality of sound is ok at best. I have purchased less expensive speakers in the past that sound much better. Would I buy these again ? Nope

Great little speakers. Just what I needed to replace my older, rusted speakers that stopped working. They are good for outdoor use as they are made with plastic cabinets. They sound great too!

These make all the jazz sounds rock, hiphop, metal and classical, and boombasticks and, with nice stat uses nice for tablet/ phone recordings influences.. and great stereo sound and studio sound. Takes the pilot out right nessicito

These are great for the money!Not very loud! But if you need something small and weatherproof these are perfect. Installed these on my fishing boat. And they are great for dropping anchor and listening to some tunes while relaxing fishing!

They worked for a month and then stopped. About every 5 years for the last 20 years I have been purchasing speakers from Amazon. I have 4 speakers on my back porch, out of the weather, under a roof, and never have any problems with them other than the cover rusting. Between 3 to 5 years the sound quality tends to deteriorate, so I buy new speakers because they’re relatively cheap. These speakers are horrible and failed almost immediately. I didn’t put the volume loud or anything abnormal and somehow they appeared to melt. They are definitely poorly made.

Es cierto que por menos de 40 euros no puedes esperar una gran cosa, pero la verdad es que al abrir la caja me sentí muy defraudado. Son unos altavoces pequeños, de escasa calidad sonora, y tengo mis dudas de que realmente sean resistentes al agua (al menos, observándolos no se aprecia ningún elemento que los haga estar preparados). Hace un par de semanas que los tengo instalados al aire libre, y de momento solo ha llovido un día. Esperemos que de verdad aguanten... Si en vez de haberlos comprado por internet los hubiera tenido en la mano en una tienda física, sin duda no los habría comprado.

I don't write too many reviews, but these speakers deserve a 5 star rating. They have a nice sound and better yet they are truly weather proof. I took them to my house construction project in Centeral America and set them up on the construction site to provide some music while we were working. I put them in a window on a partially constucted wall of the house. I forgot to stow them on a Thursday of a three day weekend. It rained hard and almost continuously the three days. Monday when we came in they were still playing and there was no change in the sound quality. I actually poured a glass of water out of each of them while they were still playing. That was a month ago and they are still working just like new. They are a great value, sound great and more than live up to their "weather proof" description.

I needed speakers for my deck and yard, but didn't want to spend a fortune. These speakers work great. They are not the loudest speakers out there, but I can easily annoy my neighbors if I wanted to. I have had them up for a few months in the weather and they are still working witch is a plus.Pros: Great price, decent sound for backyardCons: Not for audiophiles or someone needing a ton of sound. These are not concert speakers.
