This 5ft pair of 4AWG battery cable feels good right out of the bag. It's flexible for the gauge so it's definitely got a high strand count in the hundreds. Description calls out 420 conductors so even without cutting into it, the claim feels right. Ran 40A through and didn't get noticeably warm so I'm sure it can handle up the 85A specifications. The tinned terminals look the exact same as the UL-listed terminals I like to source, so this is a high-quality pair of battery cables.

These are nice quality battery cables. I used them to power an amp in my car. They come with a ring terminal already crimped on each end. They feel and look like high quality cables. There is even an extra pair of ring terminals and heat shrink in the package incase you need to cut these shorter. Very nice.

I've upgraded my Jeeps wiring system three times over 9 years. Now, fully outfitted for overlanding as well as search and rescue, it has a 2 gauge trunk line running from front to back, with a branch going to the roof, and branches to both sides at the rear. Another trunk line across the engine compartment, with two branches from then. and a third line for under the passenger dash. Then comes the 4 gauge cables to individual components, and between individual components. DC to DC charger, 300 amp pure sine wave Inverter, front winch, two way radios, light and light bar controllers, etc. You get the idea, lots of cables and wiring. Every upgrade is an attempt at SOTA. So when I say, you won't find any cable better than these, I've got a real basis for comparison. If the gauge and lengths match your needs, you're in luck. If the size doesn't, cut it down into two cables, installing new ends yourself with a hydraulic crimper and marine grade heat shrink. These cables just check all of the boxes of desired components-tin plated wire, tin plated connectors, silicone insulation, adhesive lined heat shrink, itself. The only place it falls short of perfection is the number of conductors. Finer gauge individual strands, and more of them, would further increase its flexibility (and price), though it is plenty flexible as is. Again, you won't find any better for sale; you can't make them yourself any better even if you have all the right tools and components (I do, and I can't). So there you have it--the most ringing endorsement I can craft--and I still haven't done them justice.

I needed these cables to add another battery to our side x side, these cables have tinned lugs installed and shrink tubing to make the ends totally sealed from the elements. They supply you with extra lugs and shrink tubing if you need to customize the length to your needs. Very high quality.
