Got this latch for my new potting shed and it works great. Put a second u-bolt on the exterior wall to use the hook to hold the door open as well. Very solidly made and looks great!

This is a nice heavy hook. The black finish looks nice and classy, I like it much better than chrome in an old barn. I bought this for outdoor use against the wind for a solid wooden barn door. The hook will do the job it is sturdy, the screws provided with it were smaller and shorter for indoor use so I used longer screws and am overall very happy with this purchase.
