They do not stick to the wall very well at all actually put my lid on there and with a night it fell and shattered everywhere was a very big mess.

This must be for lids that are very light. I have glass lids. It appears that glue has started to fail and they're going to come off so I'm a little disappointed but maybe I can find another use for them. I'm not sure.

It's adjustable so it's flexible to accommodate to different sizes, and I used this and like this fact.Many reviews complained about the double sided glue not holding well, so instead of taking my chances I added drops of E6000 on the middle and edges and it seems to work great.

Excellent product. I placed the holders on the inside of a cupboard door. Easy to apply, they take little space, unlike some others that slope outwards, into the cupboard. I'm really pleased with this product.

These lid holders are a clever design, and I like that they can be adjusted to fit all one's various size lids. I mounted two of them on the back of wood cabinet doors. The doors have some sort of finish on them, which should be well cured since they have not been refinished in the 40 years that we have had the house. I cleaned the surface with isopropyl alcohol and let that dry for an hour. I then stuck the holders to the doors and clamped them in place for 24 hours. Then I dropped the lids in. The first one fell off three days later and the second one twelve days later. In both cases, some of the adhesive remained stuck to the door and some stayed on the holder, so I don't think the cabinet surface was at fault. I scraped the original adhesive off of the holders and cabinets and tried again using 3M Command Strips instead. It is now 10 weeks later and the holders are still in place. I hope the manufacturer will continue to improve the product by using a more suitable adhesive. Better still would be to come up with a design that uses screws instead of adhesive. They always work.UPDATE: After posting this review, the seller offered to refund my purchase and to replace the lid holders with a new version with an improved adhesive. Since my solution is still working, I declined their offer and cannot report on the new adhesive.

Upon receiving these ingenious cooking lid holders I noticed the detailed directions and put off installing them because I presumed it would take extra time to put them on properly. My mistake. Once you give the directions a quick read through you 'get it'...now just pick your spots! They are adjustable AFTER you have picked your spot- just watch out for lid sizes as two on one cabinet door can overlap. other than that, say good-bye to those lids that are in the way! These are fantastic. I was expecting the one holding two thick metal All-Clad lids to have fallen down months ago but it is still solid and not wobbly in the least. Enjoy your extra uncluttered cabinet space!

Adhesive is not strong enough for larger lids. After one day, one of mine broke off that was holding a 12” lid. The ones holding smaller lids seem to be attached fine.

Updated review, the first order of these had issues sticking and holding, after a refund i was contacted by the seller who provided great feedback, reissued the order directly to me with an upfated version of said sticky pads, so far we are very happy with these and i will recommend these and the seller for keeping great communication open and handling this with such professionalism
