- Universal transmission cooler kit suitable for most vehicles with 5/16" ID transmission cooler lines and enough installation space.
- Tube and fin transmission cooler kit is used to cool down engine oil, transmission fluid.

Material: aluminum alloy
Includes:
- High-temperature, OEM spec hose with stainless steel clamps
- Nylon mounting rods with pads
- Bendable, metal mounting brackets
- Insta-dapt radiator adapter
- All necessary hardware
Note: In some cases, additional fittings or alterations of the OEM lines or hoses may be required for installation.
The Installation of Tube-fin Transmission Cooler
Cooler and Mounting Rod Location
COOLER LOCATION:
- When selecting the best location for your vehicle, always consider a location that will deliver the maximum airflow.
- The Cooler core will flow in either direction, there is no specified inlet or outlet port.
MOUNTING ROD INSTALLATION:
- Identify the 4 Mounting Rods, 4 Mounting Clips and 4 1x1 Foam Pads.
- One by one, Install the 4 Mounting Rods thru the Transmission Cooler.
- Take the 1x1 Foam Pads supplied, peel off the paper lining & slide them onto the Mounting Rods, sticking them against the Transmission Cooler.
- Take the Cooler Assembly with attached looped hose and hold in the desired location.
- Install the 4 Mounting Rods thru the Radiator/Condenser core. (Warning: Do not use excessive force when pushing the Mounting Rods through the Radiator/Condenser. Excessive force could cause damage to the fins and possibly puncture a tube.)
- Take the Mounting Clips supplied, making sure they are in the correct direction install onto the Mounting Rods and cinch them until the 1x1 Foam Pads are slightly compressed.
- Cut off any excess Mounting Rods.

I used it as an additional cooling system on my ford expedition. We went through an enormously difficult trip via the mountains between Mexico and Guatemala - 300 miles non-stop, with a heavy load, was keeping transmission oil temperature around 190F-200F (you also need ventilators + extra pump + big pan for oil) Original cooling on Ford expedition is very weak.

Edit after 9 months of use: I had some significant transmission oil leaks and it ended up that the hose clamps that came with this kit were too weak. I replaced the clamps with stronger ones and I no longer have leaks.The product is exactly what I needed: a replacement transmission cooler for my 2006 Titan. It's nothing frilly, but it fit in the space available and seems well-enough made.My only real complaint is that the listing claims it comes with 5 feet of hose but it was only 3 feet. I had to re-use some of the existing hose to make it all work (didn't want to drive 30 minutes each way to the parts store).

Works well. I'm not to sure about the plastic ties that came with it so I used metal zip ties instead but it took care of the transmission leak from the original cooler.

Used it with a fan and a bucket of water and pump to keep the water cool and it worked well. You can use if for any cooling purpose as long as it's big enough to dissipate the heat you have going into the system. I used it for distillation, but that's just one of many options. Maybe a water cooled tig tourch? Who knows, it all depends on the ambient,, fan speed, and how much heat you put in the system.

Perfect fit and was a great purchase. Great quality that didn’t disappoint what so ever. The One small issue I ran into was the rubber hose I received with the kit was not long enough for my application. Had to order another 5 feet of rubber transmission cooler hose from another seller. Overall a great quality purchase that didn’t have any flaws.
