Super simple to set up. Easy to clean. Works well and have had no issues. Live in a home surrounded by country and fields so we get the occasional field mouse and with these traps, I am totally guilt-free. No suffering on a glue trap from hypothermia and no traumatic snap/kill traps. Some might not care but Id rather set it free than be the reaosn for a poor little critter's demise. Great product and I love that they are reusable. !00% recommend.Thank you!

These mouse traps have been the best traps, and I have used quite a few different designs. However, if you don’t get the mouse out of the trap quickly, my mice are very good at escaping this trap design.

These traps have worked well in our home; the bait cup is easy to remove; and fill with seeds/nuts, etc. I place them parallel under kitchen cabinets (where I've had the most luck) and am purchasing more today., Just open the door on one end, it latches every time, fill the bait cup and check them at least twice a day. To free the mouse; drive a couple of miles away, remove the bait cup and out them come. I also used a bit of a Payday bar; couple of raisins; and sunflower seeds. I also took a couple of tiny sunflower seeds and threw them in the back of the trap to lure them in. Love these traps.

These things were designed really well. the fact that the bait tray cant actually be accessed is awesome for quick resetting. We recently discovered a mouse problem in our home and these traps have pretty much taken care of it in just a couple of weeks. because the mice cant access the bait, you dont have to worry about rebaiting everytime you catch a mouse. they come pre assembled and all that you need to do is slather some peanut butter into the tray and push the trap door down. the clear plastic makes it easy to see when theyve been sprung and the simple design makes it easy to remove the mouse. all i do is turn the trap upside down and push the door open. you can then dump the live critter away from your home and replace the trap in your desired location.

Works as described. I suggest smearing peanut butter at the top of the tube where the bait cover is lifted. Mice will be tempted to the end of the trigger lever, where they will reach up. This provides maximum mechanical advantage for the trigger to be activated by small mice. It also provides easiest access for the bait area to be cleaned. For very small mice you may need to use cooking oil to lubricate between the door and where it is held open by the trigger. If the bait is still being stolen without catching a mouse place a coin on the trigger lever to increase the apparent weight of the mouse.

Por el precio valen la pena las 6 trampas, atraparon al ratón la primer noche. Así lo pude soltar y no matar. Me parecen una solución muy humana. Las recomiendo

My review is based on my experience with this products performance and compared to other methods I have tried.I have used poison but I do not like the poison lying around with pets and children present. My puppy found a chunk of old poison in my basement and I saw it in her mouth, I got it out and immediately induced vomiting with hydrogen perixide. No harm to my dog, she must not have swallowed any. No more poison around as you can tend to forget about it or a mouse can move it out of normal view. So, on to regular mouse traps. They work ok but some are not sensitive enough and the mice just dine off the food that is put on it. The other issue, if it doesn't snap on the mouse it will just squirm in the trap until you remove it. I have also had some just drag the trap across the room.I have also tried electronis mouse traps. Ok but not a great success rate and the batteries along with the trap get expensive. So I tried these. My first night, I put a piece of a cheese puff in this trap. It disappeared, no mouse. Apparently the mouse was not heavy enough on 4 legs to trigger the trap, it was a small mouse, I had seen it before I set the trap. Next night I tried a piece of shredded cheese, nothing again but the cheese was gone. Third night, I smeared a bit of peanut butter on the top of the inside of the trap but the access door. figuring the mouse would need to be on 2 legs and possibly trigger the trap door a little easier. From this point I trapped 8 mice in 6 days and I did not know I had that many. We live on 10 acres so there are many field mice around. There was also an issue with my vinyl siding from the original builder of my house that allowed mice to get behind the siding, chew through styrofoam and make their way into the basement(walkout). So I am adressing that issue and mice at the same time.Like most men, I never read instructions for these traps because I would have to track down my reading glasses etc. So I am not sure what the instructions say, but so far I have only used 1 of the 4 traps and have been extremely happy. As it turns out I have had a great success rate with this trap and when I get a mouse, I simply walk it out a few hundred feet from my house where it can live out its days or deal with a cat or a hawk going after it. Being able to see through the trap is nice as well. Before I reset the trap, if it appears dirty I rinse it through with hot water with both ends open and let it dry. I also purchased more traditional traps at the same time as these but I dont think I will need to use them now. These are so easy to set and deal with, just remember to check them often if they are set. I have gone a few nights now with no mice and I have been referring these traps to friends as well if they have any mouse problems.
