I'm pretty careful to avoid situations where I can scrape the front of the car but sometimes you can't really help it, especially with a car that sits relatively low. Products like this are a cheap (certainly cheaper than replacing a carbon fiber piece) and easy-to-install safeguard against light damage.The install is easy and I feel good about the 3M VHB that is pre-applied staying stuck on, especially with the included adhesion promoter. I can't imagine these pieces coming off unless they've already done the job of protecting your car from a heavy scrape. The notched shape of the strip makes it capable of fitting to a gentle curve and you just line up and press down one block at a time. I had to cut a few blocks off the ends on both sides to leave a bolt exposed and it was easy to cut with regular scissors. I may go back and add a little half block to the front tips of the splitters that are currently unprotected in the attached photo.I measured the thickness at 5mm, and combined with the material and the strength of the adhesive, I have confidence that this will do its job, though I hope it never has to!I only used 3 strips (well, I guess 2.5 if I discount the sections that I trimmed off and can still use) so I have some spares if these installed pieces ever become damaged.

My household has drivers who are at times multi tasking and park the car too close to the curb, almost scratching the bumper bottom. This guard is helpful and takes up the damage while keeping the bumper safe. the sticker on one end keeps coming off, i wish it had stronger adhesion

Ordered these bumper guards for a car with a very low front lip. Here's my experience with them:1. You get six of them, I used four on the car.2. They are easy to install: just clean where you are placing them, use the adhesive promoter, peel the 2 sections of covering tape off the adhesive and stick them on, bending if you need to.3. Each piece bends easily because of the way they are made. In my case bending didn't affect adhesion.4. While I was initially skeptical of having 4 short pieces to install, I realized that made it easier to stick on and contour where needed. Each piece butts nicely against the others.5. The material cuts easily (although I used a band saw, other cutting implements will work). Because of the shape of the lip underneath, a trim was required to fit a diagonal shape. That was easy to do and the guard still adhered nicely.6. I cannot say how long the adhesive will last or how long the materials will withstand scrapes but, however long it is, I would rather it be these guards getting scraped than my bumper lip.

My M3 has an aftermarket front splitter which is very low and has already cracked so was looking for something that will help provide some protection. As the splitter has a larger lip I wanted something to provide a little more depth so I first installed several of these scrape guards and added a single roll bumper guard underneath at the same time.The scrape guard plates come with the adhesive already applied as two separate halves which I found useful as it meant I could concentrate on just doing one half before pulling off the other half's backing tape. In addition to the six plates you also get six packages of promoter.After lightly sanding the bottom of the splitter, and then a quick clean, I applied this promoter in stages as I added each plate. I like that the triangle style allows them to bend much more easily and conform to curves. They are pretty easy to cut as I needed to remove a triangle or two for better fit at the ends of the splitter.Will provide any updates after a few months of usage but for now it looks good and hopefully provides better protection.

I have carbon fiber front spoiler lip on my car and the car being lowered to the ground, i constantly scrape on my driveway, slowly eating away my CF front lip. Not anymore! With these installed, i dont have to worry that my CF front lip is slowly breaking down. These now takes the beating from the daily scrapes and rubs.Install is straight forward, cleaned the surface and attached these on. Time will tell how well the adhesive work on these.I have the more expensive version on my other car, and so car, material and build quality is fairly similar. Only these save you 1/3 of the price. Happy to recommend!
