Unfortunately, this pair of LED tail lights wasn't right for my trailer. Despite their neat appearance, with their cylandrical form and chrome finish, the body of the lights is constructed from thin plastic instead of a more robust material, like aluminum or a metal alloy, which would make these lights a much more secure fit, and could stand the rigors of normal wear and tear from the elements while on the road.

I’m planning o. Upgrading the lights on my trailer. I don’t foresee and problems as the old wiring will just connect to these lights

I initially got these because the lights that were on my trailer have been destroyed over the decades. We decided to strip it, paint it, and add new lights - these lights. Honestly, I would not know what I was looking at if it named each part, so my husband installed them. He said it was super simple (but this is his bread and butter - let's be real) so it might be difficult if you do not know what you are looking at (such as myself). I took one look in the box and handed it to the handyman.Honestly, the lights look GREAT against the fresh green paint on the trailer with the new chrome plating over the lights!! They seem super bright, even during the day. Great price for a long-term solution. EASY INSTALL & EXCELLENT BRIGHTNESS!

will need relay to shut off primary color when using aux color. both colors try to mix otherwise
