Out of the box they seem perfect for light loads. Even though they say they’re rated up to 5400lbs, I wouldn’t push it (with these or any other straps for that matter). The 30’ length works for my needs and the steel hooks have held up to being tossed around a bit without much wear. The aluminum wear clips are a nice touch to keep the straps from wearing from friction with the steel. The poly straps are nice because water doesn’t absorb.

While these aren't as thick or stiff as a Kenadyne strap, they are pretty good. I actually like the fact that they are a lot easier to work with.Just make sure you're using edge protectors on pretty much everything because being that these are a little thinner than a quality strap, they will scuff and wear out quickly.

At 5400 lbs working load these straps are heavy enough for commercial loads such as mid size tractors, lumber and other loads in the 4 to 5000 pound range. The straps are thick and stiff preventing folding and pinching which wears and weakens cheaper belts. 30 foot will reach across most medium height loads. Quality and durability equals value. These straps should serve well in light commercial duty or farm loads such as hay and feed. I use these for hay, my 60 hp tractor, and other loads in the 5-6000 pound range. These straps work well around the house, on smaller farms and light construction.

First use was taking totes 1,200 miles.The load was tarped and the tarp actually wore the top of the straps at the edge of the tote so bad I had to throw out two of the four straps...horrible abrasion resistance

This comes with a black nylon strip down the side hich makes them harder to cut. I have used on several different types of material, some without edge protectors and they still did not rip or tear. I would highly recommend these straps for flatbed drivers.
