Great experience with my new GSC lifters!First I was not pleased with one lifter from the kit and it got replaced by manufacturer. I'm really picky about what I put inside of my cars and 90% of the time it's the OEM. 4G63 engines tend to tick even with OEM lifters, especially when 140K miles on. Mine did tick like crazy until fully warmed up and even then I could hear occasional loud tick, even with a great oil pressure. I swapped oils and tried but tick came and went randomly. It was time to try new lifters. When replacing them I noticed my old lifters had much smaller oil inlet hole vs outlet hole which differed 3x in comparison. I think this is exactly what caused ticking. GSC lifters have both oil ways same size/restriction and they perform very well. Also, bleeding new lifters was necessary.First start-up was like somebody trying to sew metal cans together but after two warmups and driving it around it did quiet down within 30 minutes. After a few days I just love how my car runs. Idles quiet, runs smoother, no knock or timing issues! Fuel trims went back to normal. Cold start as good as new, no more crazy ticking just a lovely hum. Although, I could not find any difference in inner spring tension comparing the old lifters but I'm stoked about how quiet they made the 4G63 turbo run. They work quiet as advertised!

No defects like i have heard people having issues with. I had one I couldn’t get one of them to bleed properly so I put it in the car anyways. After a few miles it got quiet. So they work well!
