I was worried this was going to be made out of cheap metal with terrible coatings. Pleasantly surprised this is a very durable fire poker. Definitely recommend.

We wanted a longer poker for our fire pit. This one is great and, I think, will least a long, long time. It's well made.

ITEM: Fierywater 40-Inch Long Fire PokerCOMMENTS: We are using this in our outdoor firepit, where we’re routinely burning forest debris from our property - everything from whole trees to leaf piles.PROS:- I’m really happy with the weight and length combination. It’s easy to handle but still feels sturdy in the hand; long enough to give good reach into our burn without being unwieldy.- I like all the features the head offers; from rolling logs, adjusting placement, to creating air pockets, I’ve been happy with it all.- A hidden bonus I didn’t realize until receiving it: the design makes it look like a plague doctor mask - a favorite of my boyfriend.NEUTRALS:- None.CONS:- None.PACKAGING/GIFTABILITY: (All of my packages are sent with Prime Delivery Day and manufacter’s packaging preference selected. This may impact how things are shipped and cause my packaging experience to differ from yours.) Holy unnecessary packaging Amazon. It was shipping in a stupidly oversized Amazon shipping box, while the poker itself is in a cardboard box and securely wrapped in padding. The manufacturer’s packing is more than adequate for it. I would say that it’s definitely directly giftable with no gift wrap necessary.WOULD I PURCHASE?: Absolutely. At $35.99 and an additional 20% off coupon available (at the time of writing), I think it’s a fantastic value.CONCLUSION: This is a really solid fire poker and my favorite design I’ve seen. It’s great for our outdoor fire pit/burn pile and I’m really satisfied with the performance across the board. I’d definitely recommend it.DISCLAIMER: I write completely honest reviews from actual use of the products, with pertinent information that I desire from reviews, in the same way that I would by purchasing them directly (including considering satisfaction from a cost standpoint). I do not condone falsifying reviews by reviewing without using/testing or minimizing/ignoring neutrals or cons about the product. My reviews are updated without removing the original review if new information is discovered or if durability/use impacts the product down the road.My rating system is: 5 = no/minimal complaints, very pleased 4 = minor complaints, overall satisfied, but could be better 3 = notable complaints, overall average to ‘meh’ 2 = significant complaints, unhappy and will not keep/use 1 = entirely complaints, misleading descriptions, straight to the trash product.

No real complaints- it works great for how much it cost. Bought this as a replacement for a broken ax handle that I had been using as a firepoker for far too long.

I got this because it was one of the cheapest but it's actually really useful with the extra length
