  • Begin by removing the old circuit board by shutting down all power and opening the top of the heater tohave access to the old board. Unplug the membrane pad from the board and remove the wire connectors connected to the old board.
  • Unscrew the 4 screws holding the board in place.This will allow you to take the old board completely out.
  • Screw the board back in and plug the membrane pad into the connection that accepts the ribbon cable. Reconnect all of the wire connections and close out your master temp or max e therm heater.

Only had this board for around 6 months and have used it maybe 3 times. The temp up button stopped functioning and it still looks brand new. DO NOT BUY.

Our heater was turning on and heating all by itself, looked it up and it said to replace board. Ordered this one and replaced it no problem. Pool heater working fine now! Very easy install. There’s plenty of you tube videos to watch also.

Compre combo tarjeta control y teclado, pero la tajeta presenta la siguiente falla "Service Heater", pero no muestra ningún led de falla encendido en su parte inferior. El equipo se montó en un banco de prueba para simular su funcionamiento y durante la prueba la válvula del gas no se activó, pues no se escucho el ruido que normalmente hace cuando la válvula del gas abre. Necesito que hacer efectiva la garantía del producto.

Relatively easy plug and play installation, although the board is slightly larger than the original. Had to be careful not to overtighten and damage the board because it did not lie completely flat on the mounting face. Had I known in advance, I could have shaved the plastic a bit.

I received this unit and was very excited. Only to find out that one of the five pins did not fit the unit that I have at home. Unfortunately missed the return timeline so I may have to attempt to resale. Not used and in original box... This is perhaps my only negative experience shopping at Amazon.
